Mann (Manuel Cuevas) is a singer-songwriter from Vancouver, B.C. Born in Mexico City, Mexico, Mann conquered his hometown achieving different goals in the entertainment business. After writing thirteen novels, acting in theatre plays and fronting the band “Punto y Aparte”, Mann’s first move in his solo career was recording in 2006 an unreleased EP “Mi Tierra” in Aedon Studios.
By the end of 2007, after enrolling the Art Institute of Vancouver’s Film Program and acting, directing, writing and editing several short films, Mann got signed to a new Mexican label created by talented musicians: Aedon Records.
The recognized producer/musician Nurivan Reyes was set to produce this first effort called “Real”. Released in March 2008 on internet stores and in Mexico with the first single “Beg”, Mann’s debut album moved fast in the latin indie scenario, creating sparks in media sources and leading him to perform in venues such as the World Trade Center Mexico.
Mann is currently working in his sophomore album.
